Route description

The Marling mountain road is an ideal hiking path particularly on warm days, along the North-Eastern slope of the Marling mountain.
It can be reached via the picturesque Forster Steg, along the right hand side of the Brauhausstrasse and passing the electricity plant. Then ascend to the Rastbichlerhof.
From there, take the road on the top of the meadow and turn left in the direction of the Josefsberg (previously a hermitage).
The Marling mountain road leads you towards the Buchlechnerhof and to the Senn am Egg snack station. The continuation of the Marling mountain road brings you past the Holzmair and Robelehof and in a steep descent down to the Marling irrigation channel road.
Walk along this road back to Algund.
