This path leads you to the Taufenscharte (2,230 metres). From the gap, turn left and descend (approx. 20 minutes) until you come to a juncting. Here, the Jägersteig turns from path # 25 and leads you to the northern slope of the Mut mountains and to the Mutkopf mountain (1,648 m). From Gasthof Mutkopf descend to the Steinegg (path # 22), turn right and take the Meran mountain road (# 24) back to the Leiter Alm. The basket lift facility will bring you back to Vellau.
