Validity
The South Tyrol GuestPass Algund is valid for the entire duration of your stay and is only available at participating accommodations. The pass is personalized and non-transferable.
Validation
The South Tyrol GuestPass must be validated on every trip using the devices on buses or at train stations. Validation is done by scanning the QR code.
Children
Children under 6 years travel free when accompanied by an adult. From 6 years onwards, children also receive a South Tyrol GuestPass.
Dog Transport
Free of charge: guide dogs and small pets (up to 70 x 30 x 50 cm in transport boxes)
Medium and large dogs require a single ticket or a MobilCard Junior, both available at the Algund Tourist Office:

e.g., € 2 Partschins – Algund – Merano – Vellau
MobilCard Junior
1 day: € 10
3 days: € 15
7 days: € 25
Dogs must be on a leash and wear a muzzle. Guide dogs are allowed without a muzzle.
Bicycle Transport
An additional ticket of €7 is required to bring a bicycle.
Regional trains: bike transport only while space is available (reservation not possible).
Private shuttle providers allow bike transfers between Merano and Lake Resia. Reservations must be made directly on the shuttle service websites:
