From Algund/Lagundo follow the road to the valley station of the chairlift to Vellau/Velloi. Take the Burgweg trail no. 20 until Café Conrad and follow the Ochsentodweg trail until Schloss Thurnstein castle and Schloss Tirol castle. Descend along the Brunnenburgweg trail down to the Gnaidweg road and continue down to the road to Schloss Thurnstein castle. Cross the suspension bridge after a short distance and follow the Algund Waalweg canal trail until the junction with the Grabbachweg trail that takes you to the centre of Algund/Lagundo.
By train to Merano and by bus line 235 or 213 to Algund.
Parking at the center of Algund, opposite the town hall (at additional costs).
