The Vellauer Felsenweg trail winds its way beneath the Merano High Mountain Trail along the rocky ledges from Vellau up to Hochmuth. Especially in autumn, you can admire the golden-yellow panorama from up here. But beware: the path is narrow and exposed, and therefore only suitable for experienced and sure-footed hikers.
