On Friday, October 23rd, the Thalguterhaus in Algund will become the place to be for all lovers of fine wines. Experience an exclusive preview of the famous Merano WineFestival and embark on a delightful journey through the diversity of the Italian wine world.

Over 200 Labels & Culinary Highlights
Look forward to a selection of over 200 exquisite wines, personally selected by WineHunter Helmuth Köcher. Whether sparkling wines, elegant whites, or characterful reds – served by the dedicated students of the SAVOY Provincial Hotel School, every tasting becomes a special experience. To complement the wines, we will treat you to regional and Italian specialties perfectly paired with the selection.

During the evening, Helmut Köcher will be on stage for approximately one hour and will present two awards:

1. Godio: Award for the best chef
2. Dolcissimo: Award for the best sweet wine from South Tyrol

In addition to the two chefs who will prepare pasta, rice and various appetizers during the evening, the chef who receives the Godio-Award will also be present and prepare a tasting dish.
