Panoramic hike in the upper Vinschgau Valley to the summit of the Watles (2555 m)

Get out and about with the famous extreme mountaineer, Hans Kammerlander, and in the process enjoy the impressive alpine landscape, receive tips from a mountain professional, ask questions and listen to tales of exciting experiences!
Journey by bus through the Vinschgau Valley to Mals and then on to Prämajur (1700 m). We now climb through woodland to the Plantapatsch Hut (2150 m). Still ascending, we head over alpine meadows past the idyllic Pfaffensee Lakes, then continue via “Rossboden” to the Schafsberg and along the grass ridge up to the summit of the Watles, which offers magnificent views. After our rest on the summit we hike over the mountain pastures downhill to the Plantapatsch Hut where we stop for refreshments. After a good rest we descend further to Prämajur, where the bus home awaits us.

- Price: €27.00 for the guided hike and the bus ride in a comfortable coach, refreshments to be purchased separately.

- Elevation difference: 850 metres of cumulative elevation gain and descending
- Important/Equipment: sturdy ankle-high hiking boots, drinks and possibly food for the journey, FFP2 mask for the bus, protection against the elements
