The new Knottnkino³ circuit trail connects the three red porphyry rocks of Vöran/Verano: the Rotstein, Beimstein and Timpfler Knott.

The newly-opened Knottnkino³ circuit trail connects the three red porphyry rocks of Vöran. Starting from the Vöran-Burgstall upper cableway station, the trail leads to the three panoramic landmarks of Vöran: the Rotstein, Beimstein and Timpfler Knott.

The hike starts at the cable car station in Vöran. From there, follow trails no. 1 and no. 12 towards Hafling. At the Eggerhof farm tavern, turn right towards Rotstein Knott, following trails no. 14A and then 14, where the famous Knottnkino with its breathtaking view over the Adige Valley awaits you. Right next to it, a rest area with a panoramic view of Verano invites you to linger.

From here, return to the crossroads, turn diagonally right uphill and continue along the Schützenbrünnlweg trail. Shortly before the fairground, a turnoff to the right leads up to the Kino Attimo cinema at Beimstein Knott – a special place that invites you to pause and enjoy the view. Then trail no. 14 takes you back towards the Grüner Baum inn. Via the Obertimpflerhof farm, you finally reach the next Knottnkino cinema at Timpfler Knott, where the shadow play installation “Wolf” creates an impressive nature experience.
