Meraner Höhenweg high alpine trail: Giggelberg – Nasereit refuge – Hochganghaus refuge – Leiter Alm mountain hut
From the mountain station of the Texelbahn (1,544 m), the Meraner Höhenweg high alpine trail no. 24 leads northwards to the Nasereit refuge and then to the Tablander Alm mountain hut (1,788 m). Continue along the Meraner Höhenweg high alpine trail passing by the Hohe Wiege viewpoint (1,809 m) and the Goidner Alm mountain hut until the Hochganghaus refuge (1,839 m). Follow the Meraner Höhenweg high alpine trail down to the Leiter Alm mountain hut, where you can take the gondola basket lift to Vellau/Velloi and then the chair lift or bus to Algund/Lagundo.
