In 2019, they started a clinical study in the garden village of Algund: the so-called ANKER study (Algunder Natur- und Klimatherapie: Green Exercise vs. Nature Connection). It tested how two completely different types of climate therapy affect overweight couples with a sedentary lifestyle. One part of the group went on daily mountain hikes and the other part took part in daily nature coaching in the forests of Algund. In 2020, there were then the first results, which will be further analysed and tested in the summer of 2021 with a second study phase.
