In 2019, a clinical study in the garden village of Algund was started: the so-called ANKER-Study (Algunder Natur- und Klimatherapie: Green Exercise vs. Nature Connection). It researches how two completely different types of climate therapies affect overweight couples with a sedentary lifestyle. One part of the group went on daily mountain hikes and the other part took part in daily nature coaching in the forests of Algund. In 2020, the first results were in, which will be further analysed and tested in summer 2021 with a second study phase.
