The starting point of the hike in Oberplars/Plars di Sopra, a district of Algund/Lagundo, is easily reachable by bus or on foot along trail no. 7. Follow trail no. 7 past the Saxnerhof farm and proceed along the Saxnerweg trail up to Vellau/Velloi with the St. Trinity church. Continue on trail no. 26 up to the Kienegger restaurant. Then hike westwards along the Kieneggerweg trail down to the Saxnerhof farm and follow trail no. 7 down to Oberplars/Plars di Sopra. Return to Algund/Lagundo along the Algund Waalweg canal trail.
By bus line 235 to Oberplars-Algund.
