Every year, the Christmas Market transforms the church square in Algund into a place full of magic and Christmas spirit. Enjoy atmospheric live music, the enticing aroma of mulled wine and delicious Christmas treats, as well as a lovingly designed children’s program that will make little eyes sparkle. On the afternoons, festive live music sets the perfect Christmas mood at the Algund Christmas Market. Traditional sounds and seasonal melodies let visitors immerse themselves in the peaceful spirit of Advent, making a visit to the market an unforgettable experience.
🧶 CHILDREN’S PROGRAM
Little visitors will also have a wonderful time at the Algund Christmas Market: during the children’s craft activities, they can create charming decorations, bake cookies together, and design creative Christmas cards. The market becomes an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
🥘 SHOW COOKING
Every Saturday from 5.00 PM, the Algund Christmas Market turns into a culinary stage: traditional South Tyrolean specialties such as soups, polenta, and dumplings are freshly prepared on a rustic wood stove. Visitors can then taste the delicacies for free and experience the flavors of South Tyrol up close.

The heart of our Christmas Market. A stroll through the stalls is a delight for young and old alike. From lovingly sewn baby clothes made from high-quality organic cotton, home fragrances, delicious sweets, flavorful spreads, to fine wines – here you can see and taste the diversity and craftsmanship of South Tyrol. These special gifts aren’t found everywhere; they are made to warm hearts and remind us of the magic of the holiday season.
⛸️ ICE SKATING IN ALGUND
When the blades start gliding over the ice at the square near the Thalguterhaus, you know winter has truly arrived in Algund! Starting 29 November 2025, the ice rink will once again be open until mid-January 2026 – inviting everyone to enjoy joyful laps, try a few spins, and simply have a good time. Whether young or old, beginner or pro – everyone is welcome! Ice skates can be rented directly on site. And if you need to warm up in between, the snack stand offers hot drinks and tasty treats.
