A leisurely hike that promises a wonderful view of the Merano region.
It is a wonderful hike, the one that leads via the Burg and Ochsentodweg to Thurnstein Castle and further to Tirol Castle.
You can already feel the Mediterranean climate here.

The hike starts at the valley station of the Vellau chairlift in Mitterplars. You follow the Burgweg path # 20 until you reach the Caffee Conrad. Now you continue walking until you reach the Blumenthalerhof.
